Nailprints

We have to try not to hold all too tightly to the things that we really want, 

or we find as they slip though our fingers, 

our nails turn claws and our hands show blood.

 Instead, loosen your grip just a bit. 

Let your hands be held and filled 

By the master who had real nail holes in his hands.

 Remember the man who nailed a thesis to a door.

 Remember whose truth you are really fighting for...

 Remember where that kingdom is 

and its sword shaped book.
